The New EV From Mini Cooper Will Center A Giant Circular OLED On The Dashboard

The new 2025 Mini Cooper EV is definitely showing some new trends, increased range, as well as a giant, round screen that seems to be floating in front of the entire dashboard. The company has mentioned that the Cooper E and the Cooper SE- which are the two variants of the EV- have around 190 miles and 250 miles of range, which has been calculated through the European EV test cycle.

But that doesn’t seem to be the main focus- that resides strictly on the big OLED touchscreen that is now floating in front of the center of the dashboard as opposed to previously- when it was an embedded rectangle. The company teased the redesigned interior of the car in the early part of the year with multiple videos that showed the animations of the screen- which was then followed up with yet another release with more detail about all of its capabilities.

The New Mini Cooper EV Does Look Quite Trendy Than Its Earlier Counterparts

There are a few other changes with the new Mini Cooper EV model. In fact, voice control can also be activated by simply stating ‘Hey Mini’, and it is used for navigation, in-car entertainment, as well as phone calls. The company has also stated that the car would be learning from one’s routine when one takes the same route regularly. The car would also learn to automatically roll down its window in the exact same place. The display then runs the Android-based Mini Operating System 9.

Now, while the body of the Mini Cooper EV is still generally in keeping with the early designs, there are certain changes made. The oval-shaped headlights’ LED surrounds now seem to have some coordinated ‘welcome and goodbye animation’, along with ‘three adjustable light signatures.’
