Z Flip 4 Could Be The Answer To Samsung’s Problematic Flip Phones

While the Z Flip 3 made a huge boom when it landed, the Samsung Z Flip 4 could finally provide an integrative upgrade, along with a better battery. For the uninformed, it should be made clear that Samsung has established its position as the king of the foldable smartphone market. And much of its success can easily be attributed to the Galaxy Z Flip 3- which turned out to be the most popular bendable phone in 2021.

The Z Flip 3 was definitely a major improvement over what came earlier and went on to offer a much larger external display- along with a smoother inner display and improved durability. It is only being assumed that the next model would take it even further.

The Z Flip 4 Could Come With A Better Battery Life

All the three Z Flip phones currently in circulation have a 3,300 mAh battery- which is barely enough for an entire day. According to Galaxy Club, the Z Flip 4 could provide the answer with a slightly bigger battery. The foldable phones of Samsung come with a dual-battery setup, and the next-gen bendable phone- which carries the model number SM-F721, will have a bigger substitute battery. This will then easily bump the total advertised capacity to around 3,400mAh- which should be a bonus.

While this seems like a small change- it is still something. Also, the battery capacity isn’t the only factor that contributes to battery life. The processor plays a major part too- and a reliable insider went on to mention that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus- which will be developed on a node more advanced than the chip that would fuel the Flip 3. Needless to say, this would definitely make the device more power efficient.

With all these details flying around, it seems quite disappointing that there is still no word if the Flip would also support charging speeds that are faster than 15 W.
