Apple has unveiled the second developer beta for iPadOS and iOS 18.5. The first beta didn’t offer much of value for users of iPhones and iPads. It is hoped that iOS 18.5 beta 2 will introduce some noteworthy changes.
What’s new in iOS 18.5?
iOS 18.5 is not anticipated to feature any significant new functionalities. This is largely due to the ongoing development of iOS 19, with Apple having already released most of the promised features for the iOS 18 series.
However, last year’s update, iOS 17.5, surprised users with new game additions in News+ and the introduction of cross-platform tracking detection for products similar to AirTag.
One notable change so far is the straightforward option to disable contact photos within the Mail app.
