F1 22 Game

EA Sports F1 22 Game Review

F1 22 Game is the thirteenth consecutive official game produced by the Birmingham Codemasters.

F1’s bold new era is currently halfway through its inaugural season, and it turns out that it is very similar to the F1 of the past; a different team may be dominating, and the running order may have been slightly changed, but there is a sense that the regulations for 2022 have created as many problems as they have resolved, and that the positive effects of the new ruleset will not be felt for a few more years.

F1 22 Game is a recognizable racer but it is not exactly a radical new era for Codemasters’ long-running series. With its new F1 Life feature, which allows you to outfit your avatar with fashionable clothing while decorating your home with garish artwork on the walls and a Ferrari on display in the living room, F1 22 Game reflects that for better but primarily for worse.

F1 22 Game Is A Good Upgrade

The Miami race has always felt like the culmination of F1 owners Liberty Media’s initial push for the sport. This push, of course, has seen the face of F1 change significantly and largely for the better thanks to the influx of new fans brought in by Drive to Survive and a new generation of social media savvy drivers. The addition of F1 Life does introduce a small selection of supercars into the mix, a welcome inclusion that gives some variation to a series that was earlier solely focused on single-seater machines.

It is kind of pointless, basically, and hardly as engaging as F1 2021’s ‘Braking Point’ story missions that are on hiatus this time out. They are completely different animals that require a more sour approach to driving and constantly tempt you to brazenly toss your rear end out. The challenges inside frequently demand as much, loosely modeled after the Pirelli Hot Laps that make use of circuit downtime during an F1 weekend tossing fortunate passengers about.
