Honor Set To Independently Launch Its First Phone

After the split from Huawei, Honor is planning to individually launch its first phone. Though the company is now free from all the pressure from its previous parent company, it still might face difficulties for not being a part of one of the major smartphone markets.

Features And Details Of Honor V40:

The Honor V40 has many similarities with Huawei models as it was developed when it was still a partner of Huawei. The phone carries a dual front camera which has an oval appearance like the P40 Pro model. The rear cameras also have similarities to the Huawei phones. But still, it has many features that were not seen in its previous model – the Honor V30.

Honor V40 has a 6.72-inch OLED display. Its 10-bit panel supports HDR10 and the dual speakers give a better experience for watching videos and gaming purposes.

The cameras of V40 are pretty impressive. The phone comes with a 50 MP RYYB primary rear camera. The primary rear camera is joined with an ultrawide 8MP camera and a 2MP micro snapper camera. It has a 16 MP selfie camera beside a secondary sensor.

When Will The Honor V40 Hit The Market?

It is reported that initially, the V40 will be available only in China. The debut price of the 128GB version phone might be 3,599 yuan (~$556) and 3,999 yuan (~$618) for the Honor V40 256GB option.

The phone will be available in attractive colors like Magic Night Black, Rose Gold, and Titanium Silver.

The company has still not disclosed when the phone will hit the international market. It has also not revealed whether the phone will be available outside China or not.

While a lot of information about the upcoming phone is still unknown, it is definitely a giant step as the company gets ready for the first phone launch since parting ways with Huawei.
