2 Of Twitch’s Biggest Streamers Have Decided To Reduce Stream Time

Ninja and Pokimane, two of Twitch’s most well-liked streams, are reducing their output on the website.

Tyler Blevins, aka Ninja, said on Twitter that he is taking a hiatus from the app. It is unclear when he will be back on. “I simply require a break. I have no idea where or when I will be returning.” He made no more comments about the nature of his leaving. Regarding Pokimane, whose real name is Imane Anys, she stated in a video on YouTube that she intends to devote more time to developing non-gaming material for other platforms rather than spending less time streaming on Twitch.

According to PCGamer, she remarked, “I hope that does not sound big-headed of me to say, but nowadays when I watch stuff on Twitch, it kinda feels like, “Been there, done that.”

Twitch Streamers Feel Burnt Out

Pokimane continued by claiming that the streaming sector is “hyper-competitive” and that she is exhausted. The main reason she gave for saying this was that she had reached a place in her life when she no longer felt that feeding into that was creatively gratifying.

Two of the most popular streamers worldwide are Ninja and Pokimane, however, it is unclear how this would influence their financial situation. Popular streamers who were previously on Twitch have recently switched to other sites. For instance, Ninja reportedly received a $20 million to $30 million payment to switch from Twitch to Microsoft’s Mixer. But when Mixer collapsed, he went back.

It just began enabling associated streamers to publish videos on Facebook and YouTube. Additionally, it was recently discovered that only 0.015% of streamers make enough money to support themselves.
